We have very talented soccer players here in Monard NS. We were lucky enough to field two teams to represent our school in the groups stages of the Tipperary Schools Soccer Competition. Both teams represented the school with pride and after a tough final that came down to penalties Monard team A were victorious. We advanced to the county finals blitz stage held in Two Mile Borris. A great achievement for the school. Unfortunately things didn't go our way and we were narrowly beaten.
