Green Flag Ceremony
We were very proud to raise our second green flag on 26th October. This flag was awarded for energy conservation and again we thank Sheila MacKenzie for all things green in our school. We are very proud of our lovely school garden. On the day we were joined by Megan Morrissey, the pride of Tipperary who raised the green flag with our youngest pupil. The fifth and sixth class pupils entertained the crowd with a powerpoint presentation on energy conservation and a great rap specially composed for the day. Thanks to our Chairman of the Board of Management, Mr Dan Finnan for being with us on such an important day and also to some of our past pupils who were able to come back on the day. Thanks to the parents for sending in tasty treats for a little party afterwards.
