Thanks to Scoil Dean Cussen in Bruff today for hosting us at the Ficheall.ie Regional Chess tournament. We entered two teams one from 3rd/4th a.k.a. "The Chessnuts" and one from 5th/6th "Monard Uknighted".We had a great time and both teams did very well. Congratulations to all our players who represented their school very well.
Both teams will now be going forward to the next round in The South Court Hotel, Limerick on the 24th March, where they will be competing against teams from Limerick, Tipperary, Mayo, Galway, Kerry and Laois. Please encourage them to keep practising and we wish them the best of luck.
